What to Bring to “Friends-giving”

Every year, I attend a “Friends-giving” party—a twist on the traditional Thanksgiving feast. Each guest brings a homemade side dish or dessert and the host is in charge of the turkey and stuffing. It’s a fun and delicious way to kick off the season before we all head home for the holiday. Here are some of the dishes I’m considering bringing to compliment the main event. (Visit our Thanksgiving pot-luck gallery for more recipes!)

Roasted Butternut Squash Lasagna

Shredded Brussels Sprouts with Pancetta

Dinner Rolls

Maple-Glazed Sweet Potatoes

Pear Cranberry Slab Pie

Do you have any quirky Thanksgiving traditions?

  • Love this idea and need to try out the hair and cranberries slab pie looks delicious

  • I was so amazed by the existence of this bird. This is one bird that does not exist in my country. There are many other bird species
