This is too good not to share.
I’ve worn purple eyeliner for, oh, the last 10+ years. It’s an old-makeup artist trick that’s supposed to highlight green eyes. I’ve tried a bunch of different ones and always been satisfied with the results. Urban Decay’s 24/7 Glide-On Eye Pencil is a particular favorite, partly cause I adore the sheer number of shades available to choose from, but mostly cause the stuff just stays put. All day.
A few months ago, we got this amazing Urban Decay Eyeliner Vault delivered to the office. Talk about being a kid in a candy store. I didn’t know which one to gravitate to first. So I picked out the purple-ish shades (7 in all), brought them home and stashed them in my makeup drawer. Clearly I’d be stocked up on eyeliner for the next 5 years—easily.
But today, I grabbed the Psychedelic Sister pencil, a bright purple shade and drew a easy line on along the upper lash line. The same as I do every day. Then I ran out the door.
Before 10 a.m. I got not one, but THREE—random compliments from complete strangers about the awesomeness of the color and how it made my eyes really stand out. Not something that normally happens in NYC!
Seems I’ve found my new go-to shade.
(EDITOR’S NOTE: The Urban Decay Eyeliner Vault sold out withins 24 hours of being introduced. The 24/7 liner, in Psychedelic Sister, can still be found at Sephora.)
