Summer Daisy Party

By

When I plan parties, I always like to have a theme because it makes it easier to tie all the details together. One of our first weddings in Martha Stewart Weddings was a daisy wedding and is still one of my favorites.

Fast forward a few years later and my daughter, Daisy, was born. What better theme for her first birthday party than a daisy party? When OpenSky asked me to curate celebrations sales, I turned to some of my favorite daisy sources.

I pulled all my favorite Martha craft stickers and punches and used them to make everything from place cards and favors to thank-you notes and cupcake garnishes.

There are summer-inspired party ice creams, a daisy chip dip bowl, and so much more — even a slip-n-slide.

We have clip art online to help you with the placemats and runners, and the rest is up to you to personalize. You can see all the daisy products on my OpenSky page.

Eleni’s creates these sweet daisy cookies which I love to put on top of vanilla cupcakes for a beautiful dessert table display.

We also chose our favorite summer flavors — from lemonade sorbetto and apple pie to raspberry sorbetto and chocolate cake with fudge brownies and fudge swirls — for you and your guests to enjoy. With this mix of ice cream and sorbet, you’ll have classic summer favorites for any celebration.

Poppies and Posies delivered beautiful camomile daisies  for our table, but you can have this flower theme at any time of year without fresh flowers. We got delicious cupcakes from Butterfly Bakeshop. If you prefer to bake your own, here’s a great yellow cupcake recipe.
