Hit the Mark with Arrow Jewelry

By

Arrows have been flying around all over the place lately, thanks in part to heroines such as Katniss Everdeen of “Hunger Games” fame and Princess Merida from Disney Pixar’s “Brave.” (Real-life inspiration abounds as well, thanks to the six archers, three men and three women the U.S. will send to the 2012 London Olympic games.) In these seven pieces of jewelry — starting at just under $16 — the graceful line and feathery tail of an arrow is elegantly interpreted.

These hoop earrings, bent into shape from brass arrow charms, will oxidize over time, giving them a vintage look. Arrow Hoops, $45, Erica Weiner.

Each of these adjustable rings is hand-dipped to create the cool color-blocking effect. Seafoam Copper and Mixed Enamel Arrow Ring, $24, MijuAndYou on Etsy.

A delicate gold bangle becomes suddenly chicer with the addition of three arrowheads. Wristwise Bangle, $48, Anthropologie.

Clean and simple, this piece would layer beautifully with other delicate charm necklaces. On the Mark Necklace, $59, Stella and Dot.

A lariat-style chain gives these arrowheads Southwestern flair. K. Amato Long Arrowhead Necklace, $84, Metropark.

These dartlike earrings highlight the elegant line of an arrow.  House of Harlow 1960 Long Accented Arrow Earrings, $40, Endless.

A simple gold chain gets a pop of color from a duo of pink arrows. Maxi Arrow Necklace, $15.50, TheCatkinBoutique on Etsy.
